| Call Upon Your Formidable Self
|
You are so much stronger than you realize. This is the nature of the human condition. We keep breaking our
records, surpassing our limits, and living longer and healthier lives than we ever dreamed possible.
Formidable defined: "Inspiring respect through being impressively powerful, intense, or capable."
As you know, you have overcome and lived through all of your challenges so far...which of course goes without saying.
But say it to yourself anyway, and regularly acknowledge and call upon that internal fortitude that got you through and helped you to create the wonderful aspects of your life that you enjoy today. Use the power and creativity of your mind to imagine yourself in the most powerful, formidable condition possible. Really stretch in this exercise...don't hold yourself back with thoughts about age, "can't" and other self limiting thoughts. That's the starting
point.
Now, pave your path to that outcome or some version of that outcome with small, doable steps. Every great deed began with small doable steps, so you're already on the way to your own version of greatness!
And finally, fuel your progress
with optimism and enthusiasm. Visualize and imagine yourself doing, thinking and feeling the actions, thoughts and emotions that will best motivate and inspire your success in becoming your most formidable, joyful, motivated and enthusiastic
self.
