Honor, acknowledge and celebrate the courage you showed in those times when life knocked you down or presented you with what seemed to be an insurmountable obstacle. You did it. Here you are. Well
done.
Picture that child you were, in one of those moments where you felt defeated, lost, embarrassed or humiliated in your childhood. Now picture that child as s/he got back up and stepped back into the fray of life with its uncertainties. Tell that child how proud you are of her/him.
And be aware of the kind, loving adult who is honoring the child...that's you. You are both the child and the
adult. Don't tell anybody this next part...it's not for social consumption...you are amazing. Know that in your heart, and cherish the resilience, courage and strength that comes from deep inside the mystery of who you are.
