Stretch & Savor The Goodness

Whatever it is, this too shall pass. So, it makes so much sense to stretch and savor the goodness when it comes, so that it lasts as long as possible and comes back soon. You know how an hour could be an eternity when you were a child? Well, there's a reason for that.

Children live in the present moment, diving deep into the emotion of whatever is going on, which extends and expands their experience of time. The grownup word for that is mindfulness. Being emotionally present and mindful will help you draw the greatest possible value from every moment of your life.
Being mindful means breathing deeply and feeling appreciation for each precious moment of your life, looking constantly for the blessings and beauty that are right there, all of the time. Practice the wisdom of the child within you by looking at your world through curious, inquisitive eyes.

Opportunities for expansion and joy are constant and ongoing, awaiting the light of your innocent, open awareness. Bless your world with child-like love and enthusiasm, knowing always that your wise adult self is watching over you.

This is within your reach, always. Start now by simply following your breath, in and out, and relaxing your gaze until it lights on something that delights you. The life you've been longing for may be right here in front of you.
