Be A Positive Time Traveler

Your mind is always traveling through your past and your future, with occasional stop-offs in your present moment. Since this is happening all of the time anyway, why not make it a pleasant ride? This excellent article by Eric Barker describes how this process of "time travel" can lead to greater hope and happiness, when we do it the right way. It turns out that his approach to time travel is exactly the same as the Goodfinding process of gratitude for the past, appreciation for the present and optimism about the future.
In his article, Barker talks about nostalgia for the past, savoring the present moment, and anticipating a positive future. So, you get to combine these ideas and be nostalgic with an attitude of gratitude, savor the present moment with deep appreciation, and optimistically anticipate the brightest future you can possibly imagine. This is, as my new web page suggests, The Secret Of Happiness. Whether you're revisiting your past, focused in the present or imagining your future, you're doing it in the present. So...be awake, aware and alive in the present moment and travel through your own personal version of time while you "relish this remarkable ride!" (quoted from the movie entitled About Time).
