What's The Story, Morning Glory?

That's a great question to ask yourself when you get up every morning. What story are you telling yourself, about your day and your life? Make it an upbeat, optimistic one! Whether you realize it or not, you're always retelling and revising your story, and it has a huge impact on your happiness and health. Are you telling it the way it is, or the way you want it to be? That's important, because "the way it is" merely reflects the past, and the way you want it to be reflects the best of your creative self that is evolving into your future.
You are the author and the authority of your story. Exercise the freedom and opportunity this provides by mentally rehearsing your day every morning when you wake up. Imagine things working well for you, and see yourself handling everything that comes up with the confidence and competence that reflects your best self. This is actually an antidote to fear, since fear is mentally rehearsing what you don't want to happen.

Be sure and watch this entertaining video of Bert Jacobs, who with his brother founded the company, "Life Is Good." You'll love this video, and you'll notice that their story is a great example of Goodfinding at work.
