From Envy To Inspiration

Whatever you see that you like around you is a reflection of the you that you are becoming...that's why you like it. When you see beauty, health, happiness or success that attracts your attention, that's because it is a match for the evolving you...the person you were born to be.

So, the next time you see anyone feeling or experiencing something that looks good to you, just say to yourself, "That is me. I am that." Don't worry if you don't believe it at first, that will come with time - but only if you keep it up. This is a powerful tool, and yet like any other tool, it only works if you use it. And the more you use it, the more skilled you become.
The wisdom, joy and brilliance you see in others reflects your own wisdom, joy and brilliance. While this may seem a stretch for you, think about it. You know what you like and what you don't like. What you like matches with what you hold valuable and worthwhile, and what you don't like is what you consider to be without value. This is based on who you are, as reflected in your values...what you hold valuable. Just as an experiment, think of all those people you admire, past and present, and as you think of them, say to yourself, "That is me. I am the essence of that goodness." If you fall into envy, it's only because you think you can't have that goodness you see...here's your inspiring antidote.
