Be more like the hawk than the mouse. The mouse sees the small details of life, much like your survival brain looking for the next threat or problem. While details and problem-solving are important, if you spend too much of your precious time there,
you'll miss out on the big picture perspective, where you will find so much that is good, right, and working.
Soaring above, the hawk has the larger panoramic view, from which the patterns and larger waves of life can be observed. Extending the analogy, the hawk is like your higher brain
function that is activated when you look at your life from a perspective of gratitude, appreciation, and optimism.
Be sure and make time in your life for meditation and journaling. Those are the activities that will expand your view and broaden your positive perspective on your beautiful
life.
