I think that historically, we've had this backwards. That's why airlines tell us to put the oxygen mask on ourselves before children...if we knew that self care has to come
before we serve others, those instructions would not be necessary. To really get clear on this, you will have to practice prioritizing your needs first, on a regular basis. The beauty of this is, the better you care for yourself, the better you will serve others. Conventional thought has been to put others first, and move self care to the bottom of the list, so often we don't get around to it. It's easier to love and nurture yourself if you use the image of your inner child. That's why I created the Inner Child Book Series.
